No time to read this recipe? Pour the leftover smoothie that you made for your kids (and that they only had two sips of) into a popsicle mold and pop into the freezer. Genius, right!?

Strawberry Banana Smoothie Popsicle
Makes: 8 popsicles
Prep time: 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 1 banana (the more ripe the better)
- 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries strawberries (about 6-8 strawberries)
- ½ cup greek yogurt
- ½ cup milk or water
DIRECTIONS
- Blend: Add the banana, strawberries, Greek yogurt, and milk to a blender or Nutribullet. Blend until completely smooth. Taste the mixture — if you’d like it sweeter, add honey or more ripe bananas.
- Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion. Insert sticks.
- Freeze: Pop (no pun intended) the molds in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours, or until fully frozen.
NOTES
- I use this popsicle mold from Amazon. I like this one because the silicone makes it super easy to remove after they are frozen.
- As I mentioned above, you can use literally any smoothie of your choice for this. Smoothie popsicles are a big hit around here with my kids, and one of the easiest leftover hacks imaginable.
- I like to add less to start so I don’t end up with too much leftover, and just add a bit more to the blender as needed. This results in that nice variation in color you see in my photos.
- Pro tip: your kids will likely eat these outside because you don’t want a mess on your couch.. but a little word of advice, keep an eye on them or else you’ll lose the sticks to these popsicles in about 10 minutes only to turn up under your lawn mower. I speak from experience.
