These two ingredient popsicles are healthy, quick to make, and when you’re toddler skips lunch but has two of these instead you’ll feel like they had a meal. These are naturally creamy, mildly sweet, and packed with healthy fats and potassium. No sugar needed!

Banana Avocado Popsicles
Makes: 8 popsicles
Prep time: 5 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 ripe avocado
- Optional: ¼ cup milk (any kind: dairy, almond, oat)
- Optional: ½ cup yogurt (any kind: dairy, coconut, almond)
DIRECTIONS
- Blend: Add the banana, avocado, yogurt and milk to a blender or Nutribullet. Blend until completely smooth. If only using banana and avocado, simply mash together in a bowl using a fork until totally smooth. Taste the mixture — if you’d like it sweeter, add more ripe bananas.
- Pour into Molds: Carefully pour the mixture into popsicle molds, leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
- Freeze: Pop (no pun intended) the molds in the freezer for at least 4–6 hours, or until fully frozen.
NOTES
- I use this popsicle mold from Amazon. I like this one because the silicone makes it super easy to remove after they are frozen.
- For fun: swirl in some crushed berries or mini chocolate chips before freezing.
- Great for teething toddlers too — soft texture and soothing when frozen.
- Sometimes I’ll stick to a 1:1 ratio of avocado to banana if the bananas are very ripe and I want more healthy fats. If the bananas aren’t sweet enough I’ll use a little less avocado and let the bananas do most of the flavoring.
